(ADP) was established in 1986 with a DJ as the central focus for entertainment.  Robert A. McDonald also-known-as DJ Project X is among the best DJs in the city.  Boasting more than 20 years of service to the DMV party scene, Project X has built his  reputation by making people kick off their shoes and sweat out their hair do’s.  Soulful sound tracks and skillful mixes at cabarets, parties, cookouts and family functions have hosted memories of people getting together, falling in love and enjoying unforgettable good times.

After Dark Productions continues to provide the highest quality entertainment service with the latest technology, while maintaining the dying art of mix-mastering.  ADP has developed a portfolio of services including: DJ, Event Planning, Sound Reinforcement, Live Musicians, Vocalist, Comedians, Actors, MCs and Dancers.  Performance by this myriad of artist can be seen in ADP shows like, “The Musical Reunion”, “Chocolates & Roses” and “The Roots & Culture Show”.  Recently, the company has provided service to the District of Columbia Government, Patrons of Gallaudet Kellogg Conference Center Hotel, The Prince Hall Masons and Covenant House Washington to name a few.  We provided the sound design and technology for the first televised Mayoral debate in Washington, DC.
